Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): 

Q: Do I need any special tools to install the kit? 
A: No. Just a punch, small screwdriver, or really any pointed object to disassemble the factory magazine. See the installation video for more details. 

Q: The original Ruger Mark I magazine holds only 9 rounds. Does you kit work with the MK1? 
A: Yes! It adds an additional round to the Ruger MK1 versus all other Ruger rimfire magazines. 

Q: Does your kit work with aftermarket bumpers? 
A: Yes it does. If you are using a +1 bumper you can use the factory metal plunger for added stability. 

Q: The last round is a little tight. Any tips? 
A: Insert the final round at an angle, rim first, and then rotate. See the installation video for more details. 

Q: I can’t seem to fit the last round. What gives? 
A: This rarely happens, but it is one of two things. Either the ammo you are using has too thick of a rim (like high velocity CCI Stinger), or your factory spring was wound too long. Or both. Magazine springs have variation in manufacturing, and the Ruger springs are notoriously extra long. You can cut off about 1/2” and it should resolve the issue. 

Q: The magazine pin falls out when I violently shake the magazine fully loaded. 
A: If this happens, and it makes you uncomfortable, either load less additional ammunition or remove the magazine pin for safe keeping. The magnetic retention system is designed to keep the pin in during casual use of the magazine. If you intend to do battle with your 22 caliber target pistol, this may not be the product for you.

Assembly is easy and takes just one minute. Always unload you firearm and magazine completely first. Ruger factory 22/45 magazine shown in this example. Mark series rimfire pistol assemble is identical.

NOTE: The last round is tight. Ensure the plunger is seated correctly in the magazine block. Add the last (12th) round at an angle to fit properly, rim first into the magazine and then rotate into proper orientation.
